Geocache Description:

OH NO! It Can't BE!

It's the end of the road (the series)

  Conway Twitty!

(The above coordinates are not the location of the cache!)

A couple of month ago, I thought of this idea to do a cache dedicated to my mother's love (obsession) for Conway Twitty.  The idea really started when we got in a discussion of Conway not having the most number one hits any more.  She said that he might have another one.  I said "He's dead.  It's the end of the road! Not going to happen."  So that's how I came up with the "End Of The Road" Series.

And now for the Questions:

Question 1
Harold Lloyd Jenkins (Conway's real name) was born on September 1, 193? in rural Friars Point, Mississippi.  Take the year and subtract one.

Question 2
How many #1 singles did he have?  5?  Just a note: Twitty reeled off 50 consecutive No. 1 hits. Let's see an artist try to do that today.  It's been unmatched in music history.

Question 3
What year was Conway Twitty inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame? 199?

Question 4
What was Conway's last #1 hit?
Tight Fitin' Jeans (then use 3)
I'd Love To Lay You Down (then use 2)
Crazy In Love (then use 1)

Question 5
In one song, after Conway sings, he sing this word "Bom" how many times in a row?   The word is not in the lyrics.  He adds it as a background accompaniment. You would have to be a Conway Twitty fan to know this one off the top of your head.

Question 6
How many children did Conway have? Then subtract two.

Question 7
According to his children, Conway was one of Music Row's best songwriters in his own right, writing 1? of his No. 1s and earning Grammy nominations for compositions including his signature song "Hello Darlin'."  Then subtract two

Question 8
Conway Twitty passed away June ?, 1993.  Then subtract three.
