Geocache Description:

McPherson House is one of the historical gems of Napanee.

The house was built in 1826 by Allan McPherson. An entrepreneurial,civic-minded man, McPherson had a finger in many pies. His ventures included a grist and saw mill, distillery and general store. Mr. McPherson was Napanee's first postmaster, a magistrate and Mayor of the Lennox Militia. This house was the first private home built north of the river. It has been rescued and restored under the auspices of the Lennox and Addington Historical Society.

The cache is a small pill bottle so there is no room for trades.
Please be careful when replacing the cache so that the camo remains in tact.
