Geocache Description:

This is another Mermaidb50 site where you can ring my bell.

The Stone Arabia Schoolhouse (1854 era) and the Log Frame House (1840 era) is maintained by the Cicero Historical Society. The school and house are located at 6453 Route 31, Cicero, and features local historical exhibits. Open July and August, Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4 p.m. No admission (donations appreciated) and Free Parking.

Jones & Company made this antique school bell in 1868 which is on this property. Don't feel shy, just ring the bell. New fences shutter the site during the week. with the help of other cachers the find is now outside the fence. if you are looking at the school steps from outside you can see our first cache here the new one is right behind you. As always with most of our caches it's not about the log but bringing fellow cachers to a site that we wish to share.
