Ciao collega geocacher,

Dopo oltre un mese dalla mia nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta nè visto alcuna modifica.
Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni eventuale resto del cache al più presto possibile. Se hai intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo al cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente il cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

Grazie per l'attenzione e per ogni ulteriore informazione ti prego di non esitare a contattarmi o attraverso il message center oppure inserendo un log in questo cache.

After more than one month from my last note I didn't receive any answer and no action has been done.
If you haven't done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible. If you are going to fix the problems connected to this cache, once it is ready please drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:


La quercia di San Basilio si trova nei pressi dell'omonima località, importante sito archeologico, alla base dell'argine del Po di Goro, in direzione Ariano nel Polesine.
La quercia, per il suo valore storico e monumentale, può essere considerata un bene di preminente interesse pubblico.
La pianta, come detto, soggiace alla base dell'argine sinistro del Po di Goro, il quale, proprio in corrispondenza della quercia, presenta un rientro lasciato appositamente per fare spazio alla pianta.
La quercia è perciò incassata tra l'argine, a sud, e un podere agricolo a nord, dal quale la separa un modesto pianello di circa 10 metri fino all'unghia di campagna dell'argine stesso.
Vista la posizione si evince il fatto che la quercia si trova all'interno del perimetro del Parco Regionale Veneto del Delta del Po il cui confine, lungo i rami del Po, coincide sempre con il profilo dell'unghia arginale a campagna.
Il terreno su cui la pianta soggiace è pianeggiante, però già a due metri a sud del tronco inizia a salire lungo l'argine. Il rientro di questo è una superficie pianeggiante rettangolare lunga circa 20 metri e profonda circa 3 metri rispetto alla base ordinaria dell'argine. La quercia ha un'età stimata di circa 500 anni, essendo citata in documenti risalenti alla metà del ‘500 quale monumentale pianta segnaconfine. La sua circonferenza a 1.30 dal suolo è di 6.15 metri, mentre la sua altezza è di circa 26 metri.
Viste le premesse si può affermare che la pianta riveste un notevole interesse dal punto di vista naturalistico, botanico e storico.


The oak of San Basilio near dell'omonima location, an important archaeological site, behind dell'argine Po of Goro, in the direction in Ariano Polesine.
The oak, for its historical value and monumental, can be considered an asset of prominent public interest.
The plant, as mentioned, subject to basic dell'argine left Po di Goro, who, in correspondence of oak, has a return specially left to make room to plant.
The oak is therefore collected between the bank, south, and an agricultural farm in the north, from which separates a modest pianello of about 10 meters until all'unghia campaign dell'argine.
Given the position shows that the oak is inside the perimeter of the Regional Park Veneto Po Delta whose border along the branches of the Po, always coincides with the profile dell'unghia arginale to campaign.
The land on which the plant is subject is flat, but already two metres south of the trunk starts to rise along the bank. The return of this is a flat rectangular area about 20 metres long and about 3 meters deep respect to the base ordinary dell'argine. The oak has an age estimate of about 500 years, being mentioned in documents dating from the mid-'500 as monumental segnaconfine plant. Its circumference to 1.30 from the ground is 6.15 meters, while its height is approximately 26 metres.
Given the background can say that the plant has a considerable interest from the point of view natural, botanical and historical.
