Ce site a été classé réserve naturelle le 22-12-2004. C’est un milieu naturel privé légalement reconnu par le ministre du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et des Parcs afin d’en assurer la conservation. Cette réserve protège une falaise littorale et forestière qui se trouve en milieu urbain et surplombe la rive nord du Saguenay. Les activités pratiquées dans cette réserve sont la randonnée pédestre, l’escalade de rocher et l’observation et l’interprétation de la nature. La vue du Saguenay vers l’est du haut de la paroi est de toute beauté. Le propriétaire de ce site m’a donné la permission d’installer une cache pour les géocacheurs.This site was classified as a natural reserve on the 12th of August 2004. It is a natural private area legally recognized by the Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks in order to ensure its conservation. This reserve protects a littoral and forested escarpment that is located in an urban area and overhangs the north shore of the Saguenay River. The main activities in this reserve are hiking, rock climbing and the observation and interpretation of nature. The view of the Saguenay from the top of the climbing wall towards the east is breathtaking. The owner of this private land gave me permission to hide a cache for geocachers.
