MoKatt: Due to a letterbox that keeps getting the logs and mine being in disrepair, I think it is time to take this down. I took the container out of the area. It was fun while it lasted. Maybe I will try again at another date. Thank you for the visits!

Geocache Description:

At the site of a small monument.

This spot offers a bit of history. The cache is a small tupperware container I picked up at Harvest Hill Animal Shelter nearby. It can hold small items.

When I was young, my family and I would often find arrow heads on the shores of Lovewell Pond. At least I though they where arrow heads others say no. Many summers have been spent up here splashing in the lake and hiking up Jockey Cap.

Although the cache is not located inside of the fenced area, there is no need to walk outside the fence and into the woods. Unless you want to go stumbling around.

Bring mosquito repellant as they can be bad if the pond is high! They were overly friendly when I placed this cache and did maintenance.

4/28/10 - I just received a note from the neighbor across the way. Her daugher has a fun loving dog that likes to steal things and ran off with the cache from a recent finder. The neighbor and their dogs are very friendly!
