We thought we would provide a reason to stop and look around Downtown Port Henry!
While you are in the area to "do the Cache", check out the neighborhood ... There's lots of history, a nice park/public dock AND a good restaurant or two!
The Chinese take-out up the street makes the best Hot 'n Sour Soup in the universe! 
Oh BTW ... the town is famous for being the home of "Champ" , the prehistoric creature that some say inhabits the deep waters off Port Henry. > Check out some Champ Info !!
You can find the list of "Official" Sightings on this sign located at the waypoint below. 
Keep your eyes open!! No sighting reports have been added to the sign since 1990 ... so you may get to make history!!
This cache is placed in the standard GRC method. You can park within 20 feet of Ground Zero!
Does it get any simpler than that?
