A quick, easy cache
Welcome to the Hickory Lane Alpaca Farm. This is a working farm, and if you are lucky, you will see the Alpacas checking you out over the fence. They do not spit, unless they are very irritated. These animals are raised mainly for their very wonderful fiber, and are sheared yearly. The wool is then taken from the farm to the mill in Odessa, where it is prepared for either knitting or weaving. At this point in time, the owners are so endeared with their product that they have been unable to part with any of it. This may soon come to an end. If you see them while at the cache, please do not hesitate to ask questions about these animals, the owneres are most anxious to share their knowledge.
