This is located on the bank of Ertel Creek . The original stone house , built in 1803 by Mr.Ertel is still standing and can be seen from the bridge .The farm house in view was built by Ertel's grandson in 1840 .In 1905 the famous pictorial photographer ,Nancy Ford Cones lived there until her death in the 60's .The cache is located on public land ,a short walk down the creek bottom there is a great view of the Little Miami River ,and was a location Nancy Ford Cones used as a backdrop for many of her photo's.
