Geocache Description:

A small cache in Daingerfield State Park

Daingerfield State Park is one of the original Texas State Parks. Some structures still existing in the park were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s. Park entrance fee is $2 per person age 13 and up. However, sometimes the gate keepers are nice and will let you drive in for a look. The park has 57 campsites, 3 cabins, a park store, a boathouse, swim beach, and many other nice features. I encourage you to hike the entire trail. It should take you less than an hour to do the full lenght of it. Cache container is a small plastic medicine bottle with screw on top covered in plastic tape. You find plenty of parking near the cache in the Day Use area. I hope you enjoy! A Texas State Park Geocache Permit has been filed with the Park Manager.

Be sure to find all the other caches located in the park. As of this writing there are 4 others. 8.25.08
