Geocache Description:

A nice hike along the paved paths of the Genesee Valley Greenway. This is a great family cache. You are looking for an ammo can with trade items. Parking is available at the Public Safety Training Facility (N 43.07.084 W 077.39.167). Be careful when approaching the cache. There is poison ivy in some areas. Very little bushwacking is required. Stay on the paved paths until the very last. Even though they appear to go away from the cache, they will circle back.

When walking to the cache, you’ll notice the burned airplane shell. This is surrounded by gas valves that can be opened to simulate a blazing plane. The plane is used for training air crash rescue personnel & firefighters. There is also a railroad tank car and some buildings used for firefighting training.
