Geocache Description:

Saturday October 11, 2008 3:00-5:30 p.m.
The two groups invite you to join us in a big group hug at the end of the day of geocaching. Feel free to bring an appetizer or drinks to share.

ANOTHER UPDATE A group of people will meet at 8:30 in Yucca Valley for a group run on the Little Morongo Road. It hasn't been decided where to meet but maybe JOHN'S PLACE would be a good location.

THE WHEELER DEALER trail...We are having problems with the Coachella Preserve right now and the caches along the trail are open and available but we are in the process of getting their permission for these caches. WE HAD PLANS TO REPLACE ALL OF THESE CACHES FOR THIS EVENT BUT NO NEW CACHES ARE BEING APPROVED ON THIS 4X4 TRAIL.

We will have transportation for anyone in a WHEELCHAIR up to the site. Also, we are sorry to say that bicycles are not allowed, but we sure don't know why!

UPDATE: The Conservancy will allow 12 Cars at the Stone House Site. If you would like to volunteer to drive geocachers to the site, please contact the Wheeler Dealers so we can get car information and get a permit for cars entering thru the locked gate.
Some Rules for going in:
No fires, No Smoking, No shooting and don't collect anything. Pack out trash and ALL DOGS must be on a leash at all times.
We will have the privledge of a Ranger greeting us at the beginning of our meeting. This will be their way of making sure Geocachers are aware of protecting the area land and OUR way of letting them know Geocachers are considerate folks.

We will have cars to take you up to the meeting place 1.6 mi. from the parking lot or you can walk in. Once there you will enjoy the fantastic spot with tables and bathrooms and a wonderful Rock Building.
More Details will follow.

We will post meeting places for groups traveling on some 4x4 trails before the event day.
