Tickin Off. Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Clinton P: Sadly, after many years sitting in the woods, the cache appears lost. As I get very little time to myself and for geocaching these days, its best I give up the spot. Maybe someone can put a series in this area but for heavens sake don't put a cache at the mouth of the old railway bridge at the bottom of the woods. I did and, quite rightly, I was open to some criticism for doing so - hence the name 'tickin off' for this cache when I moved it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is so called for any number of reasons and doesn't really help in the search for it, so please refer to clue for help.. You are looking for a small clip and lock box with room for small swaps, log book etc.

This cache replaces the 'Approach with Caution' cache that for quite legitimate reasons raised concerns about its safety and was therefore archived. Thankyou to the cacher that raised alarm bells about this caches previous placement and I feel I have named this one appropriately considering my badly researched choice of hide.

Hopefully this one will take you along a pleasant trail through some woods to an easy find that will allow you to continue onto the Morley Multi. Please stick to the trails and keep exploration of this area to a minimum. Children should be kept under close supervision. In other words don't go near the old railway tunnel down in the woods as there are considerable hazards associated with it and I think that considering the potential hazards the council should put some warning signs up.

I find the woods quite pleasant as do many local kids who appear to have engaged in considerable earth moving in order to build a BMX trail. King Offa would be proud.
