Geocache Description:

"The Pit" covers roughly three acres and was created in 1980, and for the last fifteen years has been a fishing lake. It is widely respected to be a quiet, tranquil and above all a friendly fishery.

"The Pit" is host to many varieties of fish including Carp, Crucian, Tench, Perch and Roach. The largest carp to be caught in "The Pit" so far is 27lbs.
Easy access by car so no need to go into carp lakes carpark as lay-by is near by. The terrain is easy and the height is low.

The cache is suitable for small swaps and contains a pen and a log book. It is a normal ammo box and it is a good condition.
When you collect, please replace where you found it.
Please only take what you replace and don't take anything unsuitable. Other than that standard rules apply.
The contents is bouncy ball's and small clips e.t.c!
