Geocache Description:

THE BARTLETT PAIR HAVE MOVED AWAY AND CAN'T MAINTAIN THESE GREAT CACHES. COULD YOU TAKE THEM ON? PLEASE MESSAGE US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. IF NOT, THEY WILL GRADUALLY BE ARCHIVED. This is the final part of the great Swanage Railway Series which was adopted by The Bartlett pair. There is a cache and clue at each of the five active stations The missing clue from Swanage station is C=JAMES:

PLEASE NOTE... THE BARTLETT PAIR HAVE NOW MOVED AWAY AND CAN NO LONGER MAINTAIN THIS EXCELLENT SERIES OF CACHES. IS THERE ANYONE LOCAL WHO WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THEM ON? PLEASE MESSAGE US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. IF NOT, THEY WILL GRADUALLY BE ARCHIVED AS THEY BECOME OLD OR LOST. WHICH WOULD BE A SHAME.The given co-ordinates are for Norden Station, where you can park and then walk to find the final bonus cache. Alternatively you can park at the National Trust car park between Norden and Corfe Castle. If you are trying to do them all in one day we recommend starting at Swanage and ending at Norden! Then you need to work out the final co-ordinates using clues. Swanage railway station cache is currently archived. The clue you need from there is C = James

Clue A is in the cache at Norden Station NOW ARCHIVED SO A = PERCY. (GC1FMGT)

Clue B is in the cache at Corfe Castle Station (GC1FMH3)

Clue C is in the cache at Swanage Station now archived so C = JAMES. (GC2FF4N)

Clue D is in the cache Nearly Harman's Cross (GC2HA3K)

Clue E is in the cache at Herston Halt. (GC1E2Q3)

By now you should have clues A-E. They should all be names from this list:

Henry, Duck, James, Thomas, Percy, Donald, Edward, Gordon, Toby

Each of these names has a railway theme. Each name needs a single digit number. Some research will be needed. Then replace the letter of the cache with the appropriate number, and insert it into the puzzle coordinates below:

50° 38.A(B+E)E' N

2° 03.CD(D+E)' W

The final cache will be there hopefully containing lots of goodies :

REMEMBER! If you take something, please leave something of equal or higher value! Thanks!

Parking is available 160m south or 280m north of the final cache. The south is preferable, however there is a lovely walk joining the two locations. If you only want to do one leg and park, there is a regular bus service along the main road so you can return to your car. Just go one stop.
