The best park in the city YOU'VE never been to! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

This park is a San Francisco GEM that very few people know about
because it is tucked away between Ingleside and Excelsior. It is
walkable from Balboa Park Bart station, but BEWARE: when you find this park you will want to spend a few hours looking at all of the
BRILLIANT wood carvings that have been hand carved by the caretaker over the last 20 years!
We have been very disappointed with the treasures that we have
found in San Francisco caches, so we put some GREAT gifts in there for the first time finders! Please reciprocate! There is also a
Travel Bug in there trying to make its way to Washington DC. Enjoy this park and take some pictures to post for other cachers!! You MUST enter the park to find this Cache.
There are hundreds of pieces of carved wood in this park. This
cache is in 'uncut wood'!
Although possible, not the best cache to do at
night.
