I have been an avid crossword puzzle solver for about the past
ten years. This is my
first attempt at creating a crossword puzzle and I decided that I
would combine an older hobby with a new-found one and see how it
works. I hope you enjoy
the challenge.
If crosswords are
not your puzzle of choice, you might want to enlist the aid of a
good crossword solver or one of the many online sources for some of
the
answers.
The cache is
located at UTM coordinates:

The difficulty
rating is for solving the puzzle. The cache is actually easy to
locate once you have the correct coordinates. There is a pencil in
the container, but no room for anything else. I will be happy to
provide any needed clarification to these instructions. Good luck

DIRECTIONS:
1. Solve the
Crossword Puzzle. You
can right click on the puzzle or Solution Grid and select “Print
Picture” or you can “Save” and print later.
2. Print out and
write the number value for each letter in the
“Solution Grid”
according to the “Letter
Key”, eg,
A, B, or C has a number
value of 1; D, E, or F
equals 2,
etc.
3.
Add all
the numbers across and down in the Solution Grid to get the value
for each row and column (designated by Roman numerals
I-XXX). These values
will range from the 20’s to the
60’s. For example, the
word “PUZZLE” is
6+7+9+9+4+2=37.
4. Use the
“Coordinate Key” to
determine which row or column to subtract from which other for each
coordinate in the location of the cache (a, b, c…).
