Urueña se encuentra en la autopista A6, fue declarada Conjunto Histórico-Artístico en el año 1975. En 2007, ha sido declarada Villa del Libro

The small but beautiful village of Urueña has been declared Historical-Artistic group in 1975 and book-town in 2007

Urueña es una de las localidades sorprendentes de la Meseta Norte. Se encuentra a 5 km. de la autopista A6 situada sobre un cerro y rodeada de murallas. Conjunto que se completa en el interior con un núcleo urbano bien conservado que nos recuerda una villa medieval. En resumen, si estáis viajando a lo largo de la autopista A6 y os apetece tomar un café o estirar las piernas este es un lugar recomendable donde ademas encontraréis un cache. Se puede aparcar en 41º43.633'N 005º12.091'W Para hacer el descanso más ameno hemos dejada cinco barajas en el cache

Urueña is a small and surprising village located very close to the a6 motorway. It is at the top of a hill surrounded by a city-wall and contains a well preserved medieval city. To make a long story short. If you are travelling along the A6 motorway and want to stop for a coffee or just for a short (or long) walk this is your place. Parking space is available at 41º43.633'N 005º12.091'W The original cache contains five packs of cards.
