This Cache is part of the SideTracked Series at Aldershot Railway Station. Sorry but this is a Nano therefore you will need to bring your own writing implement and please replace it exactly where you found it with the magnet in place. This is a busy station so watch out for Muggles. Best not to try at rush hour.
Aldershot Railway Station
Aldershot first had a Railway station following the expansion of the town due to the Army moving into the area, in 1854. The existing railway line to Ash Vale was extended to Aldershot in 1870 with the station being added later that year.
Aldershot Railway station is part of Network Rail with facilities and train services currently operated by South West Trains. Part of the London Waterloo to Alton line, it is also used by London Waterloo to Guildford via Ascot services. It has 3 platforms linked by a subway from Platform 1 to the connected platforms 2 and 3. Services to London Waterloo via Woking depart from platform 1 whilst all other services use Platforms 2 and 3. It currently has 8 trains an hour through it on a normal day.
This is Team CUIYC's first cache, so any positive feedback would be appreciated.
This has been placed with the knowledge of the Railway Station Manager even though it is not on Station Property. The local Borough Council have not replied to my e-mail requesting permision so I assume they do not have an issue with this being placed.
You undertake this cache at your own risk. No responsibility for any injury how so ever caused in the finding of this cache will be accepted by the owner, South West Trains or Rushmoor Borough Council
Please replace in the same position hopefully this one will last longer
