While placing Livvey's Herring Run
GC1C0R5, we read the map there and learned that this
Conservation Area was on the other side of the pond. There is no
sign identifying it, but there are trails here.
The area does not start out very nice; there is quite a bit of
trash and the area could use some CITO. If you can look past the
initial 150’, the trails do improve and are quite nice and provide
you with a nice view of the back side of Mill Pond.
The trails will lead you directly to the cache area and the
cache itself is approximately 20’ off the trail, with light and
easy bushwacking.
Parking coordinates have been provided.
Please and be sure to rehide the cache container well and in its
original location.
