Geocache Description:

Near to Budock Church on a footpath which can get quite muddy after rain. If approaching from the Church or Falmouth side, the terrain is pretty straightforward but if approaching from Budock Water village, it's uphill!! There are a few stiles too.

Our first cache, so maybe a slightly "irregular" container in the form of a plastic jar. Contains logbook and pencil (pencil sharpener to follow), four small plastic toys (two "pennywhistles" and two yo-yos") and a teddy bear travel bug.

The area around Budock Church is criss crossed by many footpaths, some of which were recorded in documentation at around the time the church was built (13th century, as I recall). If you have a decent OS map (which I haven't, because I've lost it) you can probably walk via Public Footpaths most of the the way from Falmouth, Mabe or Mawnan if so inclined.

If the church is open, it's well worth the detour and time to look inside.
