Geocache Description:

Another Ammo box almost in plain site, third in the farming fields series.

The North Field is part of the original 160 acres homesteaded by Levi Roberts in the 1800's. The North Field is 15 acres of the 70 acres that remain in the family. It got it's name because it is located North of the main homestead. Over the years many crops have been planted in the North Field including alfalfa, corn, beans, potatoes, onions, wheat, barley, oats, and sugar beets. The cache is located in the South East corner of the property, you can access this cache without walking on the old train bed but you may have to cross the small ditch to reach the cache. Your best bet is to park off the side of the road on the East side of the R/R track bed and walk West on Weaver Lane to where you can approach the cache directly from the South along the ditch.

The cache includes my customary FTF prize of a leatherman micro and a thumb drive.

Congratulations to myater and Lord Mot for the shared FTF!
