HOW TO FIND THE CACHE

To find this cache you'll need to visit 4 canalside locations, and find some numbers (Note - You do not need to enter the Museum to find answers, all answers are outside at the four canalside locations). The numbers you find are then used to calculate the cache location. The four locations are shown as Waypoints at the bottom of this listing.

At location 1 (N 53° 01.174 W 002° 11.594):-
A1 = The year the boatmen's church was opened

At location 2 (N 53° 01.176 W 002° 11.622):-
A2 = The year the luftwaffe hit the bridge
A3 = The year the first milepost was erected

At location 3 (N 53° 01.115 W 002° 11.550):-
A4 = The year on the plaque opposite, below the chimney

At location 4 (N 53° 01.077 W 002° 11.382):-
A5 = the lock number

CALCULATIONS

To find NORTH co-ordinates:-
A4 MINUS A3 = A6
A6 MULTIPLIED BY A5 = NORTH

To find WEST co-ordinates:-
A2 MINUS A1 = A7
336 PLUS A7 = WEST

The cache can be found at the following co-ordinates:-
N53° 01.0(NORTH) W002° 11.(WEST)
