Easy cache along a State Historic Site

This cache has been placed directly across from the Canal Park Museum. You can access this cache without having to pay a fee.
The Museum across from the cache, a State Museum exists, with dry docks, boat displays and a general store.
There is a small fee for adults and children are free.
NOTE*** This cache is being listed according to the new NYS Parks Permit Processing rule for geocaching.
Kenneth Showalter (Park Administrator) has requested that all geocachers that have caches in this park should contact him at the Poolsbrook Office, phone # 687-7821 to acquire a permit number.
