This two stage multi is located in The Wetlands Reserve, an area of Cardiff Bay often missed by visitors to the restaurants and shops of Mermaid Quay.
Parking is available at the Mermaid Quay car park (51 27.785N 3 10.043W).
Update December 23
Originally the first stage of this cache was a micro cache but it has disappeared several times so we have replaced it with the following clues that can be answered at the posted co-ordinates.
The final cache can be found at N 51° 27.5ab' W 3° 10.3yz'
where:
a = number of species pictured on the board minus 3
b = C + D where a significant date is "CDth July 2002"
y = number of bird species supported at the wetlands divided by 10 plus 1
z = the number of great Crested Grebes in the photo plus 1
The final cache is a medium lunch box container.
We chose to place our first cache here because we love the location of the first stage, so take your time to enjoy the spot before heading to the final cache site.
