A cache placed on pictou island on the northumberland strait off
the north east of Nova scotia. In order to retrieve this cache
placement you will need access to a boat, which is available to
board 3 days a week up until december, and after that you will need
to hire a bush plane which makes frequent trips here in the winter
months as the Northumberland strait freezes over in parts, keeping
access here at a minimal.Pictou Island was settled in the early
1800s by Irish and Scottish immigrants, a hard-working, independent

The island today is home to a community of year-round and
seasonal residents, and a haven for many cottagers and

value the pace of life and the tranquility the island allows. We
