Geocache Description:

Climbin' & Findin' Cache

**This cache is not for children, dogs or the physically unfit. They can wait on the trail to guide you while you attempt this cache.  Proceed with caution and at your own risk**

I came across this location while seaching for the 6 caches located in the Mills County Park area.  Much of this park is located on a hill so I knew there were some bedrock formations in the area.  I have come across very few 3 or 4 star difficulty/terrain rated caches so I figured I would create one.  Please let me know if you agree with the cache ratings after finding/ not finding this cache.

This cache is located on a ledge along a rock face.  You will need to climb across/ up a rock face in order to reach this cache.  I was able to place this cache by climbing out to it's location from the side.  You will need both hands when climbing out and I recommend you drop any backpacks or waistbags you might be carrying. While it might be possible to open the cache and sign the log while out on the rocks I do not recommend it. I have attached a neck strap to the cache so you can place it around your neck in order to bring it to a safe location to open.   The cache is a tennis ball container containing only a log book and pen. It is located next to a small tree growing out of the rocks.

The reception on the GPS was not very good and the best accuracy I got was 16ft so I provided another waypoint which is at the trail where you split off to reach the rock face.  The trail leading to the cache is easy. Getting to the cache is not.

**I must stress that this is not an easy cache and should not be attempted if you are afraid of heights, are physically unfit or are a complete clutz   It is important that the cache is returned to it's original spot next to the tree so the next cacher can locate it. **

Just Snoopin' for caches!!

Congratulations to

on the FTF!!
