Ever since I was quite young, I've known this hill as either Dead Man's Hill or Suicide Hill. It was always fun biking, driving, and even riding the schoolbus down this hill - especially when the roads were snowy and icy. Although I can't recall any serious accidents here, I have heard of several vehicles ending up in the creek at the bottom. The hill's nickname had to come from somewhere. Later, I thought it was quite ironic that there was also a cemetery on the side of this hill.
This is a two stage multicache located in Carman Cemetery in rural Sanilac County. The first stage is in plain sight. There is no need to move anything to find it - you can find it without touching anything. The final is a full size ammo can. Hopefully while you're here you'll take some time to check out some of the headstones - most have been here for many, many years. Please obey Michigan law and not seek this cache after dark.
There is a water bottle "survival kit" for the first finder.
