Geocache Description:

Short hike along a beautiful creek.

Silent Creek: The 1.4 mile trail (#1479) begins near south end of Diamond Lake and west end of Teal Lake Trail, Road #4795, where Silent Creek flows through boggy meadows. Gentle grade. (visit link)

The cache is less than a half mile from the trail head, but don't let that stop you from hiking the entire way. The trail is family friendly, not too steep, has plenty of protection from the sun, with beautiful views of silent creek. Don't hesitate to hike to the nearby lakes, Mt. views and geocaches. If you have a Mt. Bike the trail is open to bikes as well.

This trail is open in the winter time, and the cache is placed in a place where you might be able to reach it during the winter (assuming there is less than 6 feet of snow). You may need a boost in the summer time. Please rehide the cache well.
