Today Amber and I had to drop Gav off at work. So after we had done so, we looked at each other and nodded! Yep, we had talked about placing a cache by the river – let’s do it. Just the girls.
We went off walking down the riverside to find the right place. We found a perfect tree and wandered up to it and then spotted a really little nest with one lone egg sitting in it. So we quietly backed away and whispered to the bird (not that we saw her), the tree was hers, first in first serve.
So we wandered off and looked around other areas and then we found another good spot – not as perfect as the tree, but still a good spot.
It’s a nice little area which I have gone to on many occasions and sat on the benches by the river and had lunch when I worked close by. We have even been swimming in the river there with the kids.
HONESTY: Please log your honest feelings about our caches. Swaps good/bad/indifferent. Location silly/great/nice/pathetic. Without everyone's comments we cannot learn what everyone would like to see in a hide. Plus don't forget if you really like it please recommend it.
