Best accessed during mid-late Spring to early Fall. Altitude is approx. 9750 feet. Might be hard to access or find due to snow or high water due to snowmelt. HIGHLY SUGGEST 4X4 or HIGH clearance vehicle, ATV or horseback. LONG hike if not driving to parking area coordinates.
Parking coordinates 1/2 mile from cache site are; N 39 06.904 W 107 47.320. To get to the Cache site you will need to hike, ATV or ride horseback about .5 miles on narrow trail. Coordinates within 20 feet of accurate. GPS may bounce a bit. Contents are in weather proof airtight container. Original contents are; Star Wars wrist light, Astros Antenna Ball, Spark Plug Guage, Golf Tees and Ball Marker, Mator Tow Truck, North Star EMS retractable Key Chain, Lavender Potpurri and C2C Colorado TB, log book and pencil. Park Pass may be required for entry. Wildlife in area include Elk, Deer, Moose, Bear and other little critters. Lots of photo ops available. Kid friendly, dogs allowed with leash, not wheelchair accessible.
