GFC - The Smashed Finger Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ice and Wind: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, please contact me (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be able to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Watch out for the muggles...

We've had to rehide a new container in a slightly modified location, since the previous location has become more transparent. The container can only hold a log, so bring your own pen.

You are looking for a small container placed in a probably obvious location along a nice walking/biking/rollerblading trail in north Bothell. My family has used this trail often, and there are many baseball fields and soccer fields nearby. In fact, there is an office park within eye-shot, as well as nearby restrooms. Because it CAN be busy, be careful of the muggle factor. That's the only reason I added the .5 to the difficulty.

Why is it called the 'smashed finger' cache? My son managed to get his finger caught in the said nearby restroom door, and ended up losing the nail. We thought we'd commemorate that, as well as our 100th family find with our first cache placement.

Congrats to SillyAddictions on the FTF (and happy birthday too!)
