Short walk in the Thomas A Lannon, Sports Park. Not far off the paved trail. Cache only big enough for small trading items. Bring your own pen!
This is our first cache, so we thought we'd make it an easy, but important one.
We've placed this cache in memory of 2 family members who have passed not too long ago, Chris Bennett and Grandma Bennett (hence... C.B. - G.B.). This cache has been basically placed right behind my Grandmother's old back yard and brings back memories of good days gone by.
Long before the baseball diamonds and soccer fields were built, a huge brood of Bennett cousins... including Chris... used to play in the forests, fields and ponds that littered these grounds... all under the watchful eye of Grandma Bennett! As I was placing this cache, I was taken back to a simpler time of exploring, hiking, fort building, boot-soakers and the inevitable upset parent when we came home filthy.
When the Sports Complex was build, our play-time turned to sports; playing baseball, soccer, football and... illegally of course... golf. And when it came time for Grandma's curfew, you could bet we'd all be running to beat the band in order to avoid Grandma's broom! But, no matter how delinquent we may have been... no matter how late... no matter how dirty... the evening always ended with tea, toast and stories of Grandma's youth. Yes, they were simpler times - and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
So when you find this cache, please give a thought to your youth and remember the good times you've had and the family who loved you. I miss both Chris and my Grandma deeply and feel privileged to have had them both in my life.

Update -- When looking for this cache, please use extreme stealth as there are some muggles in the surrounding neighbourhood who may be having some fun at Geocaching's expense!
I have replaced the original container with a new idea for hiding, although the coordinates remain the same. Hopefully this new idea will do the trick.
