Geocache Description:

Micro cache and dash...after solving a convoluted puzzle. The hide should be relatively easy, while the puzzle will involve some number crunching at GZ. Difficulty rating is based on puzzle portion, by itself the cache would be a 1 or 1.5.

Posted coordinates are for a parking area (3 or 4 cars) within close proximity of the puzzle and final.

From the parking area, you should be able to see a large blue sign with brass letters describing the history of this bridge. Use the information on the sign to answer the following questions:

1. Name of company that constructed the bridge? [ A ]
2. What type of bridge is this (a "rivet connected [ B ] truss bridge")
3. What river does this cross (the "[ C ] branch of the [ D ] river")

Using your answers above and by numbering the alphabet (A=1, B=2, etc) find the numeric version of your answers (example; 3, 16, 5, 22, etc). Using the numeric version of your answers, then find the sum of the numeric version (example; 3+16+5+22, etc).

Question Answer Numeric Version Sum of Numeric Version
[ A ] _______________ _______________ _______________
[ B ] _______________ _______________ _______________
[ C ] _______________ _______________ _______________
[ D ] _______________ _______________ _______________

Location of final is calculated as follows:

N 40 3E.FG4
Where "EFG" equals...
...the sum of numeric values for [ D ] times five divided by three...
...times two...
...minus the sum of numeric values for [ B ] times three divided by two (round your final answer down to nearest whole number).

W 074 42.HKL
Where "HKL" equals...
...the sum of numeric values for [ B ] times two...
...minus the reversed sum of numeric values (example; "12" would be "21") for [ C ]
...plus the sum of the numeric values for [ A ].
