A ten minute walk on a good bridle path giving some fine views up onto Cley Hill.
Cley Hill, a favourite of local walkers and ramblers and its extensive history is well documented, both in local books and libraries and on the internet. Whilst this would certainly add great interest when standing at the summit, this cache, the second of three, takes a slightly different approach by not requiring you to actually climb it. It is placed along a bridleway that provides an easy flat walk, whilst giving some excellent views of the hill without the strenuous effort required to ascend it. Another cache in the vicinity (A Big Pile of Cley) will provide historical information and that challenge should you feel up to it.
Parking for this cache is at N51º 12.119 W002º 12.813 opposite Bugley Barton Farm. The cache is along a flat good hard surfaced byway and is suitable for all. There are no stiles to negotiate and it can be retrieved easily without leaving the track. You are seeking a small “click-lock” container in a camo-bag. It should take no longer than 25 minutes to complete.
