This cache, a large ammo can, has been placed along the Big Bear Trail on Big Cedar Lodge Resort Property. The start of the trail is at N36 32.364, W093 16.549. You can access the trail head at the stables parking lot off of Estate Road.
When you reach the Cub Trail Sign, that has a bench nearby, turn right and start your trek on the Big Bear Trail till you are about 150 feet from the cache. Then make a left into the woods between the big rocks. That will minimize your bushwack that would be greater if you had continued beyond that area. The cache is hidden "Ozark Style". You may continue on this trail to the start of the "Loop" which will bring you back to the main trial. The "Loop" of the Big Bear Trail is very scenic, about 1 mile, and should be considered. The trail is well marked with guidance arrows.
