On the Coast for a visit? Stop here, take in the view and find the Secret Trail Cache.
On the edge of the town of Oceanside there is a small creek that runs down the hill and under the road (Netarts Hwy). On the ocean side of the spot where the creek crosses under the hwy there is a scenic view of the ocean that is partially framed by trees. Stop here, enjoy the view and start your hunt for the Secret Trail Cache.
This is a small piece of public property that has an unmarked trail that is difficult to spot from the road. Park on the ocean side of Netarts Hwy across from the waste water treatment plant and walk towards the town of Oceanside. Just as you pass by the beautiful brown house, start looking for the trail that runs along the side of the public piece of land. The cache awaits you in this small slice of paradise.
