This cache is on Yoron Island. There is a nice path to the cache but it is overgrown so bring your banana spider stick. You may want some gloves to get the cache out of its home.
*** UPDATE/ATTN: NEXT FINDER: If you're willing and able, please pull the container and keep it or reuse it; your choice. I intend to archive this cache, but won't until the container is removed (or else it'll become geolitter). I cannot maintain it as I previously hoped. No matter what you chose to do (or not do) with the container... PLEASE take all trackables out and help further their mission. Thanks in advance to whoever helps close this one down.***
The 1st Yoron Island Cache is a brown ammo can with a hand power generated flashlight/radio, Okinawa Geocache patches, some wrapped presents and a lighthouse inside.
To get to Yoron Island take the ferry from Motobu Port in northern Okinawa for less than 7000 yen. It departs daily at 9am and returns daily about 5pm. The on base tour agencies (Kadena MWR and MCCS) routinely run tours to the Pricia resort on this island.
