This cache is a peanut butter jar covered in duct tape. Since it might be a while before this is found, the jar was also wrapped in a gray plastic bag. The contents inside are also all placed in individual zip loc bags.
At time of placement contents were:
A logbook and pencil
Canada flag fridge magnet
Magnetic geocaching button
Canada flag pin (rubber)
Mini four-color ball point pen
Playing card fridge magnet
Two 'flower' pencil erasers
Butterfly hair clip
This is placed near the end of where construction has reached so far from the Red bay direction. The road to Goose Bay is tentatively scheduled to be open in the fall of 2009. It will be interesting to see if this is found before that by someone driving from the direction of Red Bay. This is near a small stream...a tributary of the Eagle River...a beautiful place to stop for a boil-up. When we placed this, it was a beautiful, sunny day, with hardly any flies.
It's great that we now have a Map Source track of the road from Red Bay to the end of construction
