The cache is placed near a tributary of the Eagle River on the road from Red Bay to Goose Bay, hence the name. The road is tenatively scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2009. Again, this is a beautiful area...a great place to stop for a lunch.
The cache is a 350ml Lock & lock container. The contents are individually placed in zip loc bags and the Lock & Lock container itself is placed in a zip loc bag as well. Therefore, everything should stay dry while waiting for an avid geocacher to find it. :-) At time of placement it contained:
Logbook and pen
Small quartz crystal
Magnetic geocaching button
Playing card fridge magnet
Canada flag pin (rubber)
Canada key chain
Two 'flower' pencil erasers
A 'butterfly' hair clip
