Geocache Description:

Great place to launch out to sea, or take a trip up to KiwiGary's cache *Its a pirates life for me*. The ultimate would be to take a longer journey right up to the village of Puhoi via boat, canoe or kayak.

This whole place is very beautiful, full of muggles in the summer and at full tide especially with kids on the jetty fishing or swimming, while the adults launch their boats right next to the jetty.Stealth will win the day here.

Wenderholm.

Cradled by the Puhoi and Waiwera Rivers, Wenderholm was the first Auckland Regional park and remains one of the most beautiful.

Its forested headland, rich in native birdlife is one of Auckland's finest examples.
There are ample sheltered grounds for picnics and games and the fine swimming beach draws the summer crowds. The park opened in 1965 and took its name from the historic homestead on site, which was formerly known as Wenderholm (winter home).

Cache is a keyholder embedded in some camo, contains logbook and maybe a pencil.
