Geocache Description:

A very different cache this, and a good one for a wet winter's day. No bush-bashing here; this is the Ultimate Urban GeoCache!

NOTE: The vestigial 1st waypoint has gone missing, but really, you won't need it.

The cache is the bare minimum that a cache can be, (sorry, no swaps) but it is not hidden. It is in full view and on public display. The coordinates given will take you to the starting spot right in the very heart of the City of Albany.

Ask yourself this question: Where is the best place to hide a book? Then look to where you are!

Your one clue to guide you to the target is the name: Rex Libris. (No, not the comic book character, this is an entirely different Rex). He is quite close by, and you will find computer skills very helpful. And if you are having problems, helpful advice is always available. Just ask!

Oh, and I should mention, the cache is only accessible between the hours of:

MON 10.00am to 5.00pm
TUE 10.00am to 5.00pm
WED 10.00am to 5.00pm
THU 10.00am to 8.00pm
FRI 10.00am to 5.00pm
SAT 9.00am to 1.00pm
SUN CLOSED

And that just might be another clue...

Sharpen your wits, and think about what you are going to write in the logbook. We are looking for more than just TFTC.When you find it, you will know why! And if you can't find it, just ask for help!

Good Hunting! (and writing),

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!: January 2009. Thought we had lost Rex, but he had simply been misplaced. By several metres. This type of cache is particularly vulnerable to being put back in the wrong place, and it is easily done. Once the link is broken, it is impossible for following searchers to find the cache. Please be very careful to put Rex back exactly where you found him! If you are not sure, there is always help available!.— Thanks, roymerc.
