Geocache Description:

Have fun finding this one in the forest.

This cache at the edge of Simcoe County Drury Tract along 30/31 OroMedonte (no winter maintenance) side road guards the entrance to Elliott Woods.

This seven-hectare woodlot has been conserved in perpetuity for the benefit of future generations thanks to this land being gifted by the Elliott Family to The Couchiching Conservancy.
The protected land is part of an important natural landscape in southern Ontario - the Oro Moraine. Towering steeples of sugar maple and red oak create a canopy over the property, as trilliums and other plants blanket the forest floor. A hike through the woodlot is rewarding (especially if you seek other caches residing there!).
The cache is a small lock & lock container and contained several small items to trade as well as a logbook and pencil. Please replace in same location within it’s nest.
