Geocache Description:

A waterproof container not far off a section of the Long Path trail in Thacher State Park.

The Long Path is a 326 mile long trail starting in NJ and currently ends on it's northern end in John Boyd Thacher State Park in upstate NY.
There are plans to extend the Long Path all the way to the Canadian border someday but for now it's ends in this area.
There are several unmarked side trails that split off the Long Path along this route making following it interesting at times.
I hope you enjoy exploring this less traveled area of Thacher Park and have fun hunting all the new caches along the area as well.
