given by the people of Schaumburg, Germany
to commemorate the 50th anniversary of
the village of Schaumburg in 2006
This is a traditional cache at the
Schaumburg Convention Center.
This cache is dedicated
to all Schaumburg geocacher,
both side of the pool,
i know and have met in both Schaumburgs.
You will search for a PET-preform,
smaller than a film container, but longer.
Bring your own pen.
THIS CACHE IS NOT AVAILABLE IN WINTER.

WINTER MEANS THE TIME, WHEN SNOW IS ON THE GROUND.

You will find the Stone of Friendship
inside the entrance of the exhibition hall
behind the escalator.
This is maybe 400ft south of the cache.
Don't go upstairs, stay on first floor.
I tried to get the COs of the Stone of Friendship,
it is at N 42° 03.660 W 088° 02.418
The Stone of Friendship
was carried in a historic way
from Schaumburg, Germany to Schaumburg, Illinois.
They put the heavy sandstone
on a horse-drawn carriage
to Rinteln, where in earlier times,
sandstones were put on a boat
and transported on the river Weser to Bremen.
