11-10-21 update: Placed a brand new cache at the coordinates. Enjoy! Original posting: Very easy walk on a gravel path to the cache. The cache itself will not be so easy to find.
Evans Farm was once a farm, then it became an inn, with animals and a doll store on its 15 acres. Now, all that is left of the original farm and inn is a pond with the old stone mill house. You don't need to enter the gates into the development. You can park along Farm Mill Drive: N 38° 55.941; W 077° 11.720. The cache is a cylindrical pill container with room only for the log itself. Please bring your own pen. Take a walk around the pond and through the mill house. Check out the geese and ducks. There is a spectacular old cherry tree, at the far end of the pond, that is gorgeous in the Spring. CONGRATS to vocatan (& KanukGirl) for the FTF!
