PLEASE BE ADVISED! I'VE NOTICED THAT PARKING AT THIS END OF THE TRAIL IS NOT PERMITTED (TEMPORARILY, I HOPE). PARKING IS ALLOWED AT THE KARAMAC AND FARVIEW PARKING AREAS. BUT THAT IS GOING TO MAKE FOR A LONG HIKE. BUT THE OTHER CACHES ON THE TRAIL SHOULD MAKE IT WORTHWHILE.
NJ's Longest Traffic Light AKA A Light Wait Cache. The average traffic light that most of us would ever encounter would last 3/4 of a minute. Here's one in NJ that would really put a person's patience to the test. I've semi officially timed it at 3 minutes plus. There are times that you'll sit at this light and never even see another car. By all means do not run this red light! It does have its purpose, as you will soon find out. There's even another one of similar duration only a half mile away. A sequel cache? No that would be overdoing it a bit. Once arriving, use the pull off which should accommodate several vehicles. This is the parking area for the Karamac trail in Worthington State Park, on which I have placed another cache. Most of the time this is quite a desolate area. Other times, well for a cacher, I can see it as Grand Muggle Station. You know how to do it. Logbook and pencil, room for small trades. Nothing needs to be extremely disrupted to find this cache.
