There are many different types of sticks used in sports. There are hockey sticks, polo mallets, yard markers, pole vaulting poles, the javellin, baseball bats, lacrosse sticks, boomerangs, fencing epies, goal posts, horseshoe stakes, golf clubs, broom ball sticks, pogo sticks, croquet mallets, riding crops, archery arrows, oars, cricket wickets, ping pong paddles, walking sticks, batons for twirling, tennis rackets, bowling pins, ski poles, and the ever-present geocaching pile of sticks. This is another cache hidden under a pile of sticks.
The cache is hidden in the Nose Hill Public Library, with their approval. You can check their hours here: Nose Hill Library Hours.
Your task is to find the Dewey Decimal Number so that you can locate the book in the Library. There is no need to bother the librarians. Although they know where it is, it takes the fun out of figuring this out on your own.
The puzzle is one that the entire family can solve and find. All that is required is some observation skills. Just stick to it, and you will uncover the number.
We've replaced the cache in June, 2025 with a regular size container that can now hold trading items, and we've left the original log book in the new cache for your viewing enjoyment. There are a multitude of interesting books nearby, and there are writing sticks thoughtfully placed in strategic locations all around the library if you don't have one on you.
Stealth is not required, but courtesy is required while you are finding and signing the cache.
The FTF honours went to the first cacher under 10 years old who solved the puzzle and found the cache. Congratulations to jazzplus on the FTF.
