Geocache Description:

Another awesome spot in Durango. Parking is available 150' from the cache. The City's website states that the Lions Den is wheelchair accessible. The cache location is not. The accessible trail starts about 500' northeast of the parking area. You can also get here from Florida Road via the Lions Den Trail if you want a nice hike.

This is a very popular place for the college kids and others. It's one of the best places in town to see the sunset. Wonderful views of the La Plata's, Silver Mountain and town.

This place is a Terrific spot for CITO. It will also give you "cover" for doing your search. The cache container is a large camo'd pill bottle that is well hidden.
