Falls View campground trail hike (see long description Also $ 10.00 for FTF
This cache is on the trail that starts at Falls View Campground(a National Forest campground )3.5 miles south of Quilcene on Hwy 10l. The trail head will take you down the canyon to the Big Quilcene River. It is a steep trail 1,000 ft over .6 mi. with lots of switchbacks. The campground is accessible all year, during winter months you will have to park out side the gate but please do not block the gate. No parking pass is required. If campground is open, there is plenty of parking at the trail head.
Take path down to the left and go over the footbridge.
This trail is a loop along side river but no river access. To view the falls use trail at the top by the water tap. Congrats to the Pirates of the Yukon for the TFTF!
